First off, I can't help but to comment on the news of the day, which is the back and forth bickering between Lance Armstrong and Floyd Landis. Floyd has admitted to doping during his entire career, but Lance is still denying it. Oh well, would love to see what the outcome of this one is.
Now, to the main purpose for being here. Private Quarters is a company based out of California that manufacturers fine products, such as bed linen, bath and spa products, textiles and bath robes. Having a degree in computer science, thus a technical back ground, I always tend to start looking at a company by first evaluating their website. At first glance, I was very impressed. Just looking at the products on the site makes me want them because they look so luxurious.
Private Quarters is about five years old and emphasizes that they are in a field with very little competition and lots of room for growth. The main way of making sales is from having in home parties, which seems a bit outdated to me. One of the main reasons that most people fail is a lack of prospects and it seems to me that finding people to come to a party would run out fast. Also, that limits your reach. The profits are made as a percentage of sales from these parties.
One other thing that jumped out at me is that there is only one level to come in at, where as most companies have 2 or 3. My job is to deliver the facts, which I have done. What works for me, may not work for you. Is the Private Quarters opportunity right for you? Only you can answer that question.
