For over 15 years The Blacknet has been disseminating electronically information relating to and for the Black Community in the United States.  We are the original Blacknet and some viewing this website may recall way back in the day, dialing directly into our BBS to download files, share information and to participate in echo conferences provided by AfroNet, FidoNet and K12Net.  We are thrilled to offer access to this new interactive website and the goal of The Blacknet will be to continue to disseminate resourceful information and to facilitate a strong communication network to unite the Black Community in the online world.  There are thousands of sites on the Net offering information relating to the Black Community and our goal is to share where those sites are as we come across them.  Believe it or not many are still unknown.

Please note ALL ethnic groups are welcome to participate on The Blacknet -- we ask that ONLY Black owned or operated companies and/or franchises, consultants, independent business owners or professionals submit information to the Business Directory.
